Drew Levey

Drew believes “the best way to learn a business is from the ground up,” which has helped him take on multiple roles at the company.

When he entered his freshman year at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business Management in 2010, Drew also began working as an Office Assistant at Universal’s corporate offices. During his early years, as an Office Manager with the company, he began developing his clerical skills and learning multiple accounting and property management software programs. After two years in the corporate office  – and while still pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration at BU – Drew became an assistant property manager responsible for tenant applications, collecting rent and managing the building budget. 

This early experience grounded him in the operational aspects of managing real estate properties and how to balance the competing needs and demands of residents, management and the business.

In 2014, Drew became a Property Manager, focusing on managing all aspects of Universal’s resident community. Beginning in 2017, Drew has been the company’s Compliance Manager, making sure the business is running smoothly, overseeing tenant ledgers, receivables, legal matters and tenant move-ins/move-outs for all of Universal’s properties.

With an eye on the future and a particular interest in innovation, Drew is eager to move Universal forward as he looks for new technologies that improve property management and maximize Universal’s operating efficiencies.

Drew earned his Bachelor of Science from Boston University, Questrom School of Business Management in 2015.
